Can I choose which body shop repairs my vehicle?
Yes. You have the right to have your vehicle repaired at the auto body shop of your choice. Your insurance company may recommend shops in its preferred network, but you are not required to use them, and Alabama insurance regulations do not allow an insurer to require you to travel an unreasonable distance to have your vehicle repaired at a specific shop. What your insurer pays is governed by the terms of your policy, and we will work directly with your insurer on your repair.
